About SKYWATCH
SKYWATCH is a privately operated web project providing location-based astronomical information. It displays, among other things, the Sun, Moon, planets, stars, ISS passes, weather conditions and selected sky events, and provides simple pointing aids.
Accuracy and use
Astronomical positions, weather data, visibility estimates, event times, directions and notifications rely on external data sources, calculations and device sensors. Despite careful processing, data may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Local obstacles such as buildings, trees or terrain are not reliably detected. The information is for recreational and informational use only. SKYWATCH is not a navigation, safety, rescue or official warning system.
Safe solar observation
Never look directly at the Sun without proper protection. Direct solar observation requires suitable, undamaged solar filters designed for that purpose. Ordinary sunglasses, displays or improvised filters do not adequately protect the eyes.

SKYWATCH may link to external websites and data sources. There is no continuous control over their current content or privacy practices. The respective providers are responsible for external content. Links are reviewed in particular when first added; permanent monitoring without specific indications is not intended.
